This is the page where I will be posting my various revision for 2025 Post 16 maths exam resources including practice papers, revision topic sheets etc.

Further Maths AS Daily Question Sheets

These sheets have two questions per day Monday – Friday. The first 7 contain topics from the AQA Further Maths AS pure content.

The aim is that these questions can provide a quick revision of a mixed range of skills.

A-Level Revision Sheets

Each sheet is on a particular topic (Sheets 1-8 are mainly Year 12 topics) and includes some examples with a QR code linking to a video on Youtube. Solutions aren’t available yet, but likely will be over May half term.

Integration Practice Sheets

Sheets with 6 integration questions. Designed to be done in less than 20 minutes so can be used for quick revision. Some are themed and some are mixed technique sheets.

Revision Clocks

I have always enjoyed using Revision Clock activities since being introduced to them by Jo Morgan a very long time ago. Students tend to enjoy them, even if the questions can be a little hard to complete within 60 minutes they always want to try.

I haven’t got any students sitting this qualification this year as I have moved to a post 16 institution but I had some requests for a Paper 2 Warmup grid so here it is. Thanks to Mr Bansal for sending me a copy of the questions in Paper 1.

Tonight / first thing tomorrow morning. Sorry! First year I have done Core Maths too so taking a bit longer and Further Maths is prioritised, but it will be there tomorrow with solutions tomorrow night so plenty of time for last minute revision on Wednesday 🙂

Hi Charlie, yes it will be up by tomorrow morning. It’s a busy time so slightly behind schedule but solutions will be there at the latest Friday morning.

Hi Jo, yes I will be. Looking to have one pure Paper 1 up by the weekend with solutions on Monday followed by a couple of Paper 2s (informed by pure content on Paper 2) by the end of the week.

Hi Raghav, sorry I’ve taken some more time off over Half Term than I had planned! Hoping to have two Further Maths Paper 2s up tomorrow evening with Solutions on Monday.

Just letting you know you I think there may be some mistakes in the alevel further maths predicted paper 2 (questions 3, 8a and 10 so far)

Thanks for the A level Paper 1 – I’ve done some worked solutions, happy to share if they are any use to you (can’t promise they are 100% correct as did quite rapidly).
Also a few things I noticed:
Question 5 was missing
Is Question 13b correct? Don’t think there would be a least/greatest value
I think question 15 needs a diagram
These are observations not criticisms – all you do is greatly appreciated

Hi Jo, thanks as always for the comments and feedback. You aren’t the only one who has suggested that about Question 15 – I think you are right. I’ve re-written the question 🙂 Still quite challenging I think.

Sorry meant question 6 is missing!
I see 13 b has now changed and makes sense now. 🙂
I agree Qu 15 is still quite challenging but a bit more accessible with a diagram and I have seen a similar question in past paper

May be worth adding to the AL warm up grid, on the change of sign solution that it needs to be made explicitly = 0 first (AQA become very picky on this now!)

Thanks for that. Sorry I missed that, that’s a good idea. I have really emphasised that with my students this year based on the exam papers I looked back at last year as you are right AQA have become very picky on that now. I will edit it now so that if you use them next year (I often use my previous warm up grids around mock time etc) that change is reflected.

Paper 2B solutions are now up there! Sorry they have only gone up today. Your answer to the volume of revolution one may be different – I initially missed a square root in the denominator!

Hi Ireneosen, the first Paper 2 MS is out now. Markscheme for 2B in a couple of hours.

I’m not actually technically there anymore so I won’t have had your son this year sadly. I’m just writing the solutions up to my AQA A-Level 2B paper and they will be up some time this morning. I’ll also email them across to his teachers. One typo on Question 9 too – the derivative of cos(x) that you are trying to show should be -sin(x).

Thanks so much for the quick response. I think it was one of his others teachers that gave him the paper. My son and I were working on this paper last night so looking forward to the solutions to give us hints on the more difficult questions etc.

Me too when I have done the solutions. Looking back at my working in my notes I seem to have changed one of my masses half way through, then divided upside down when getting a – a little embarrassing! Now I have an issue with the file manager on my website so can’t get it online!

Hi Tom – I see you have changed acceleration in Qu 17b paper 2a but I think it might still be incorrect. I got 2g/11 but it says 10g/11.
It could be an error on my part but someone else said they got the same as me in an earlier comment.
